Not disappointed

Great service and good size room. Somewhat old fashioned but that is to be expected. It was well maintained and clean and the beds were very comfortable. Excellent situation on the coast and a short walk from the town.

Don't waste your money

At check in we were treated as second class citizens as we were using a voucher. We were placed in a room facing a side street and yards because "that's all you get with a voucher". Our bedroom at home is bigger than the one we had and has better ventilation. We have had better rooms in a Travel lodge. It was the hottest day of the year and no air con. We asked for a fan and were given a pedestal fan which was falling to bit and was very noisy. We couldn't comment on other facilities was we were made so unwelcome we sent as little time as possible at the hotel. Very lavish in the foyer and all down stairs rooms but how much time do you spend in the lobby.

We come to Eastbourne every year for a short summer break. I was on Buyagift for something else and 'accidentally' found your package for two nights b&b at the Grand Hotel in Eastbourne! Thought I'd surprise my husband. The hotel was lovely they take great care of you and the facilities I think are exceptional very clean. I loved being able to go for a swim of a morning.
