More OW than WOW
Wanted to be Wowed but were totally underwhelmed! We opted for the journey tasting menu £100 pp. The GOOD - dishes were tasty beef tataki, sweet & sour prawns, miso salmon absolute standouts BUT …. Awkward, no you can’t have a cocktail from the bar list in the dining room. Service was contrived, insincere, over promised and underdelivered. Some portions ludicrously small and expensive, even allowing for a Mayfair premium 2 trimmed lamb cutlets £42.
Sadly won’t be recommending ???????, if you’re looking for an experience go to Bishopsgate for the view.

Be prepared to pay more at the restaurant!
We received this voucher as a gift. We ended up paying £68 at the restaurant on top of the voucher because a 15% tip was charged, plus we both had one non-alcoholic drink. Quite upsetting, and doesn't quite feel like having received a gift.
The food was good, but nothing too special, it would have been worth about £68 for us in total... We appreciated the calm vibe of the restaurant, but only up until the waiters started shouting at each other right behind us. :(
