Great but just short of a 5 star
Had a great wee day the facility was great treatment was fab but the only thing that let it down was the afternoon Tea cakes were tasty but when it came to the sandwiches whoever made them put way too much butter on them it was as if it was sliced butter it was that thick but apart from that a great wee day out may do it again but will give them heads up on the butter on the sandwiches

Birthday spa
The massage, the girls doing the massage and the afternoon tea were fantastic. Staff were not very forthcoming in helping directing us. We had never been before and had to ask several staff on where to go. Some staff when asking where to go for afternoon tea, didn't even lift their head to speak to us just nodded when asked is it through here for afternoon tea (with me pointing at bar area). Found out from a regular that several things were broken. However the massages and the girls doing them were great and hit the spot x

Spa day
Was rather disappointed actually, robe was ripped at back, second one had ripped belt holds, some staff couldn’t care less about clients, massage wasn’t as good as I thought it would be, towel on bed had an awful smell I couldn’t quite source, rather basic, wasn’t confident moving around pool area nothing to hold onto and beds were too near pool. First and last visit to spa area. Crutherland House Hotel is rather tired and musty in places, Afternoon Tea was not as expected, sandwiches and cakes didn’t divide equally for three people, my scone was brick hard, when I mentioned it to young male server I was asked would I like coffee refill as he had something he had to attend to!!! All in all it’s safe to say no return visit for me. My first time using buyagift
