About the experience
Set sail from Oban for a full-day wildlife adventure on Scotland’s west coast. With a knowledgeable team on board, cruise towards a large seal colony before taking to the clear, shallow water to snorkel with curious grey and harbour seals. Keep an eye out for dolphins, whales, basking sharks, seabirds and eagles as the scenery slips by, then warm up with a hot drink after your swim.
What do I need to know?

- Minimum age: 8 years; under 18s must be accompanied by an adult
- This experience can be cancelled in adverse weather conditions; please contact the venue before setting off if in doubt
- This experience lasts 7.5–8 hours with a break for lunch; please bring a packed lunch and water to drink
- There are a maximum of 12 participants on the boat
- A minimum of eight people is required to run this tour
- Please wear sensible shoes and wrap up warm; a change of clothes is recommended
- Binoculars and information guides are available onboard, but don’t forget your camera
- Wetsuits are available to hire from the venue
- Snorkelling equipment is available to hire from the venue by prior booking
- Participants need to be reasonably fit to undertake a full day at sea
- As this involves boats with ladders, it is unsuitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility restrictions
- All dates are subject to availability
