Excellent meal
Makes a nice change to go to a pub with freshly cooked food. Thai food (curry or stir fry options were available) aswell as usual pub grup options like scampi, burger etc. Excellent starters (duck salad and tempura vegetables) and desserts (chocolate fondant and pecan pie). Would definitely recommend. Staff service was excellent too.

Quality 3 course meal plus wine
We had a lovely meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary at The Chequers at Orwell. The quality food was exceptional from start to finish with the added bonus of a glass of wine or beer included. The service was friendly and we will definitely come again and mention to others to come and enjoy too!

Fantastic date night location
The food was amazing, staff externally helpful and attentive. The restaurant area isn’t large about 6 tables which is perfect for a date night. Could not fault any of the food courses! The pub is warm and friendly which is nice if you want to stay for a drink after your meal. Will 100% be returning!
