About the experience
Step into the world of clay target shooting with a Shotgun Skills Course that blends clear, classroom-led learning with hands-on shooting. Get to grips with how the modern shotgun works, cover essential safety, learn how to apply for a licence, and build the techniques needed to hit and break simple targets. Train at a club affiliated with the British Association for Shooting and Conservation and graded Premier Plus by the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association, then finish with a Clay Pigeon Shooting Association certificate and stay on-site to watch other shooters.
What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
- Your voucher is valid for one person
- Available one Wednesday and one Saturday each month, year round
- Minimum age: 12 years; anyone 16 or under must be accompanied by a spectating adult
- This experience runs in almost any weather conditions; please call ahead if you have any concerns on the day
- Shooting takes place in groups of six; a maximum of two groups will be running
- Spectators are welcome in designated safe areas, as well as the clubhouse and adjoining patio
- Pets are not permitted on-site for safety reasons
- Please dress appropriately as the experience is fully outdoors
- The venue has wheelchair access; disabled participants are welcome – please advise details at the point of booking
