Traditional inn with fab food and staff.
Traditional inn ,wonderful staff ,delicious food ,comfy clean bed beautifull area and dog friendly, breakfast is huge and you have a choice of about 6 breakfast ,plenty of cereal, fruit ,yogurts toast ect.

Such a warm welcome
Ideally located right on the edge of Dartmoor and near to Plymouth. The Moorland Hotel staff were so friendly from the moment we arrived to the day we left. The food was beautiful well presented with a great choice, the rooms were very nice, clean and warm and the views were beautiful

We were greeted with a very friendly warm welcome when we arrived which continued throughout our stay from every member of the staff. We ordered the hearty cooked breakfast which had a great selection to choose from which set us up nicely for our days exploring the area. The evening meals were superb with a wide choice yet again , we dined looking out over open countryside with Plymouth sound in the distance and with the actual moor across the road behind the hotel. This hotel is dog friendly too. If you wish to visit Dartmoor or Plymouth this is the ideal place to stay.
