My husband surprised me with a night at Langshott Manor for our anniversary. The hotel is stunning our room really was deluxe with a fabulous bed and wonderfully decorated. The bathroom had one of those beautiful free standing feature baths which I just adore. As the hotel was so lovely we decided to pay extra and have dinner in their restaurant rather than go out - our meal was very impressive. Breakfast in the morning was great as well.

Afternoon tea
We were lucky to pick a sunny day and enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea in the beautiful gardens. The food was good, two massive scones each along with a selection of sandwiches and other cakes.

Amazing afternoon tea
We were welcomed by the staff and were shown to our seats the tea came first it was nice to see a loose tea served the sandwiches were an absolute delight with the smoked trout being my favourite the cakes were lovely and unfortunately we had to take the scones home but they were hard and not edible we had a quick walk around the grounds it was a lovely experience
