Amazing Gift
I had this as part of my Christmas present because I had a fascination for helicopters but had never been in one. I was a bit scared at first but was bowled over by the experience. Now I want to do it again.

Wonderful Gift Idea
We had this experience given to us as a gift for Christmas. We had a great experience, helped by some lovely weather. Very well run and well organised event, no hold up's went like clockwork, would recommend giving this gift experience to anyone.

Wow a lovely experience
Getting to North Weald airfield was not a problem as we were given accurate details of which route to take which emailed with flight details. We got there an hour early and as as there was a Saturday market there we enjoyed walking around had a cup of tea an a large sausage roll. Nearer the time we walked upto the field where we were going to fly from. The team were very welcoming and made us feel comfortable. There were two helicopters which took it in turns to fly and land alternating. There were loads of people waiting their turns and finally it was our turn to get on it. I had the front seat next to the pilot. Wow the views were magnificent as it flies closer to the land than a plane. We flew close to the skylines of the shard, gherkin etc which we enjoyed very much . We were lucky that the sun was out and it wasn’t too cloudy. Yes I would recommend this experience to everyone as it is wonderful.

Enjoyable Helicopter Trip
The trip was very interesting and enjoyable, with a good commentary from the pilot explaining some of the landmarks we were seeing below us. However, the description of the trip was rather misleading as we did not "see the capital from above", in fact we never went north of the North Downs, so the view of London was very much in the distance, and only a very few London landmarks could be seen.

Amazing helicopter ride
We arried early for our helicopter ride, which was good as we left early due to all the other passangers on our flight arriving early!
I was a little disappointed when we arrived as we were informed there was a delay with the flights by at least one hour. The cafe on sight was only able to take cash as the card machine was down. The food was really nice and the young waitress really polite.
After being informed about the hour delay we decided to look online for something to do for the hour - there was nothing local. We were then approached and informed our flight will be going ahead and even a little earlier than booked :-) however :-( we were not able to fly over London due to Remembrance Sunday. This was a little disappointing as we wanted to see the poppies from the air.
The pilot was extremely friendly and our ride was amazing! He made us all feel at ease and was fantastic at informing us of all the land marks. Defiantly worth the money! I wish we had longer in the air as 20min seems to come and go ...
The lady who gave us our safety briefing (brown hair) was very polite and happy to assist at all times. We landed and was given sparkling (however my partner and I dont drink) we also purchased the photo taken before the ride which was £10 and was a really nice photo.
The only down side to the day was not being able to fly over London, there was no information on facebook or on the automated contact number which may have suggested there could have been a problem as if there was I may have considered rebooking never the less it was an amazing day and the staff were FAB!
