Great hotel great staff great food and on the door step to the city centre a great gift

Loved it from the moment we arrived staff were wonderful room comfortable food great would go again

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Churchill, York is a gorgeous city, the staff were very accomodating and the food was fantastic.

Very warm welcome on arrival, booking in was quick and easy, and we were given a tourist map and told best routes into the city. The room was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was tasty, well cooked and plentiful. Dinner was delicious. Will definitely go back and stay again.

Lovely central friendly hotel

5 mins from the Minister and York shops. Superb breakfast, i.e. cooked to order! Staff very helpful and knowledgeable of York activities.

We were given the Blenheim Suite,which was newly refurbished in baroque style,and which we found delightful.Great night's sleep-our room was really quiet.Our stay included a three course dinner from the a-la-carte menu.This was excellent,with an enormous variety to choose from.Our choices were superbly presented,delicious and plenty to eat. Breakfast is part buffet,part service,and was very good. The hotel itself is situated some five minutes amble from the main entrance of the Minster,and the rest of central York.Staff are really helpful and friendly-when we arrived the smallish car park was full--we asked the duty manager about it and he immediately arranged for a place to be made available for us!

The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk into the centre, with lots to see and do whilst in York. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were on the small side but enough for what was needed, the beds were very comfortable. The stand out part of our stay has got to be the amazing food at the 'piano bar & restaurant' within the hotel, everything was cooked to perfection and was truly a meal to remember. Hats off to the chef for producing such outstanding food. The breakfast was also very good and included in the voucher along with free parking. Excellent value! Will definitely be recommending to friends!
