Disappointing and Overpriced
This was given as a gift and then converted with a top up payment, so I am not sure as to the total cost. However the top up fee alone would have paid for a nights accommodation at the hotel.
The grounds are not that extensive. The hotel is comfortable and clean, the staff very helpful.
We were the only diners, which meant ther was no atmosphere. Food was alright, but choice was limited.
Overall the experience did no reflect the price paid.
We would stay again, but would look for the best available room rate.

This hotel break surpassed our expectations. We were looking for a nice romantic break for our anniversary somewhere not far from the lakes and we found this overnight stay at Farington Lodge Hotel - such a luxury place! Recommend it to anyone.
