Fabulous stay at moorland hotel

Poor hotel
Relatively clean- but the room was incredibly basic and we certainly would not book it again. It was a gift to us so hard to see what they paid but it really was not a space you would want to spend any time in. There was a very bad smell on the room and the area was less than desirable. Staff nice. Breakfast was again incredibly basic.

Hassle but Happy
The hotel itself was good, needs a little work and dated but mostly clean (steam room and swimming needs some tlc), tables were sticky but dining area was clean. Food was really nice.
However, booking was such hassle. I kept getting confirmation from buyagift but the hotel had no bookings. This went on for weeks having to keep emailing between buyagift and Nant ddu, finally had confirmation 6 days before we were going after week's of hassle. Although there was no clean confirmation with no communications of check in/out times, what was included. Also, our bed was just two singles push together so kept falling in the gap. Not sure if this was due to the poor communication between buyagift and the hotel. I would stay there again but I wouldn't book though buyagift due to all the issues I faced.

Wonderful Break!
Enjoyed a Two night stay in the Glamping Pods, was a wonderful experience, never been camping before and had all the facilities we needed on site also. Enjoyed a lovely meal & Cocktails at Bert’s pizzeria. Would definitely return.
