Moving Target Archery Experience 10125253

Although the event was enjoyable and the staff were friendly it was not quite as advertised. The event lasted only 50mins and there was no refreshments available. We informed of a team member who could not attend as called to work as a frontline worker no refund was offered only a chance to replay another day for 10 pounds.

Unfortunately the SkyBow was cancelled approx 1 week beforehand and although we were offered alternative dates we had booked it to tie in with other plans so tried air rifle shooting instead. The staff were helpful and pleasant and offered us a number of options in terms of rearranging. We enjoyed air rifle shooting - the session was fun, the facilities are good and staff are knowledgeable.

Was given the experience as an a Xmas gift and really enjoyed it. Could be the start of a new hobby!

Whether you are new to archery or a seasoned archer (we had both in our group including half a hen party) then this is a fun event. (SkyBow archery) Let's be honest - if you are expecting to hit every target - then think again. This is a great leveler of an activity where hitting the target is a bonus. There's nothing more satisfying that seeing a wave of arrows being sent flying at the same time through the air as a foam wheel spins through. I thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon as did the rest of the group who were well supported and encouraged by our host. What would I do different? Probably book two events at the same place and make a day of it.

We went for our experience when the weather was very wet and windy, we were informed the day before that the activity would still go ahead, possibly a different form of archery. When we arrived the event had changed to standard archery which was under cover. The archery itself was well organised and the tutor was very well informed and friendly. It was a shame we couldn't do the moving target version but that is the British weather for you! I would recommend this for anyone.

It was the most boring thing I probably ever done. It's nothing as described, there was nothing moving not mentioning targets. The guy who was supposed to be an instructor had no idea what archery was. We spend an hour there but had a bow in hands for about 10 min altogether. What makes it worst, there is no mobile network reception there so when you wait for your turn you can't even check your Facebook. Good advise, stay home, that will be more fun and better experience.

the skybow experience was great fun, we were greeted by friendly staff, and given instructions on how to shoot the bows in a safe manner... however, we weren't shown how to hit the targets!!.. that was up too us. the targets were fired up into the air, and then it looks so easy to just hit them, but it wasn't !!. but.... even though we were missing the targets, we were all getting closer, till eventually we started to hit the targets.. i managed to hit the target three times, so i was quite happy, it was a real sense of achievement. we then went under cover to shoot, so that gave us chance to show our skills at a stationary target. we all enjoyed the activity, even thou it was torture as the targets whizzed by unhit. give it a go, you wont regret it.

Had a cracking timeI wasn't very good at it, but the experience was fun. Got to shoot as stationary targets too, which was a bonus!
