You’ll be kitted up in army overalls before your instructor helps you get used to the unique operating controls of this mighty monster. Drive with the hatch up first to get the hang of commanding the FV432 tank, as your instructor guides you around the site. Then, when you feel confident, go for the full experience as you sit right inside, using only the periscope to navigate. It’s sure to be a thrilling driving experience to remember!

What do I need to know?
- All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences
- Your voucher is valid for one person
- Available on selected Wednesdays and weekends (£20 supplement), April–October
- Maximum weight: 22 stone
- Maximum height: 6'4"
- Minimum age: 16 years
- No one under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be permitted to participate
- You are free to contact the supplier to book a date for your experience
- A maximum of two passengers are allowed in the tank for an additional fee per person (minimum age eight) payable on the day
- A driving license is not required

I was given this Tank driving experience for my 60th birthday. What an absolutely awesome prezzy it was!! I paid extra for my wife and one adult son to ride in the turret which they thoroughly enjoyed too. Admission included entry to the military museum as well. Danny the instructor was brilliant and very knowledgeable. And the team make a decent cup of tea!! I would highly recommend this experience at Armourgeddon.

This experience was given to me as a Christmas present. All the staff at the venue were fantastic and very helpful. My instructor Christian was very patient.

It was easy enough to book the experience, we are based in Kent so mad3 a weekend trip to go to Lutterworth.
Directions were clear and the tank and sign by the road made sure you didn’t miss the turning for the venue.
Joe was our instructor and we were quickly into the tank after a short safety talk.
He drove a lap around the short circuit to get us into the experience.
Then it was my turn to drive whilst my wife was a passenger (tip wrap up warm as it was 13 degrees abs windy for the passenger, less so for the driver)
Joe was clear with the instructions to me on driving and I soon felt comfortable driving.
Then drove with the hatch down with only a narrow slot which was quite disorientating but great.
Overall a great thrill and the hour went by in a flash.

From start to finish this was brilliant, the staff are do friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Making the whole time brilliant. The museum has a lot to offer to after your driving experience. Lots to see and enjoy. Would love to do this again so will definitely re book for next year.

We had a great day out and cannot fault the staff at the venue as they were friendly and knowledgeable. A great day out for anyone interested in military vehicles and warfare.
