Hovercraft Racing Challenge for One in Leicestershire

Skim across a purpose-built water course in Leicestershire for a high-energy hovercraft racing session lasting up to two-and-a-half hours. After a briefing and demonstration, take the controls for a series of practise runs and experience exciting land-to-water transitions. Then put new skills to the test in a team relay before finishing with a solo speed challenge, racing the clock to claim hovercraft champion status.

What do I need to know?

• Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
• Your voucher is valid for one person
• Available on at least four weekend dates per month
• Minimum age: 14 years
• Maximum weight: 26st
• Only high winds and snow prevent the experience from running; if in any doubt, please call the venue before setting off
• Lasts for up to two-and-a-half hours, including a briefing, demonstration and hovercraft driving time
• There are up to 12 other participants on the day, plus a qualified instructor
• Spectators are welcome
• The venue is equipped with toilet facilities and refreshments can be purchased on-site
• Dress suitably for the outdoors
• In order to take part, participants must be able to kneel down
