About the experience
If you’re a fan of the works of CS Lewis and JRR Tolkien, this two-hour walking tour is a unique way to learn about the lives and work of these famous writers. Famously known for the Narnia series and The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy, you can delve back in time and visit some of the very grounds they walked. From Exeter College, where Tolkien studied to the Eagle & Child pub which was visited by Inklings weekly and University Church where Lewis preached, your knowledgeable guide will be on hand with plenty of stories about Oxford University alumni’s. Prepare to jump back in time and discover Oxford at the beginning of the 20th Century.
