Oxford Lunchtime Picnic Cruise for Two

Spending a relaxing and dreamy afternoon drifting down the quieter parts of the River Thames is the perfect way to see both the landmarks of Oxford and the beautiful rolling countryside that surrounds. Departing from Folly Bridge, you will pass Christ Church college and the university boat houses on your way to Osney Island, Port Meadow and beyond to Godstow, whose scenery inspired some of the literary work of C.S. Lewis and Lewis Carroll. Your cruise comes complete with a sumptuous picnic supplied by the riverside restaurant The Folly. Tuck into a seasonal menu comprising a range of delicious dishes and a refreshing beverages. Your perfect afternoon cruise will last approximately three hours.

What do I need to know?

• Your voucher is valid for two people
• Available week round, April–October
• Weekends are always busy, so please allow several weeks advance booking notice
• This cruise will last around three hours and departs promptly at 11.30am, 12pm or 5pm
• This cruise must be booked by 5pm the day before travel
• Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult (18 or over)
• The boats don't have wheelchair access, but boat staff are happy to assist passengers with limited mobility to embark and disembark.
• Should severe weather conditions cause the cancellation of your trip, every care will be taken to rebook a new convenient date
• Wine is available to purchase at the departure point
