Discover there is much more to Downton Abbey than Highclere Castle, as you and your fellow Downton fan take to the historic streets of the capital and see where the award-winning Downton Abbey series was brought to life! You and your companion will join the tour group, as you are taken around London by your professional guide, who will show you some of the key spots and filming used in Downton Abbey, hearing interesting facts and anecdotes about the filming of the TV drama along the way. Some of the highlights of your walking tour will include seeing the exterior of Grantham House and the Crawley’s London residence, retracing Bates’ movements in London, just as Anna did and passing by the spot where Lady Rose threw caution to the wind when she dated the jazz singer, Jack Ross. September Treat
Excellent guide - gave us just right amount of information in a friendly manner Unfortunately we passed through a crowd and got separated from the group on way to last two stops Our guide contacted us by mobile but we werent able to get through as roads were closed off for London marathon tomorrow .It was unfortunate but did not soo the exoerience A learning point would be you have all the party after negotiating a crowd

Brilliant Tour
This was bought for me as a gift as I am a big Downton fan. We met our tour guide Eva outside the tube station & was immediately made to feel welcome. We were lucky as there were only 6 of us on the tour so this was perfect. I saw parts of London I'd not seen before which was great & also very fascinating. Eva was a fantastic tour guide, very funny & friendly & the 2 & a half hours flew by. Would 100% recommend this tour.

Fun tour.
It is necessary to arrive early for this tour as there is no way of contacting the guide once the tour starts and you do not stay in one location. We walked from Temple to Green Park with a comfort stop in Somerset House for those who needed it. It was very hot on the day we did it and as it is all outside, there is not always shade available so bear this in mind. The tour runs on a Friday morning from approximately March to October and if it rained on the day, you would get very wet! Our guide, Michael, was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of general historical information about the areas we passed through, as well as pointing out Downton locations and snippets about the characters. We did a Call The Midwife tour last year with the same company and I think I enjoyed that more, but then that was just in the one location of Chatham Dockyard and there was more shade available.
