Introduction to Trout Fly Fishing Experience for One

Intrigued by fly fishing? Pick up a rod and some handy techniques with a one-day fly fishing foundation course for one. Under the guidance of a qualified instructor, get hooked on the art of casting, fly tying and more at this acclaimed fishing school. Learn how to select the right tackle, tackle up, cast your line using a variety of methods, select the right flies and hook and land a fish. After mastering the all-important skills, will you feel confident enough to reel in a catch? With brown, rainbow and rare blue trout swimming about, you may just be tucking into a tasty dinner in the evening as you'll be able to take home a fish – if you’re lucky enough to catch one!

What do I need to know?

• Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
• This voucher is valid for one person
• Available to book on selected dates throughout April to October, please enquire at point of booking for further information
• This experience lasts from 9.30am–5.30pm with a break for lunch
• Minimum age: 18 years
• Group sizes are kept small (up to four pupils) to ensure maximum individual coaching
• Please dress according to the weather
• You're advised to bring along a plastic bag or cool box to take away the fish
• There is a fully equipped Fishing Lodge and a wide choice of local accommodation in Stockbridge, just four miles away
