Days Out In The North East

We had a fantastic day at Shawsgate Vineyard. The tour was extremely informative and the guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. The lunch consisted of cheese, ham, salad and bread with a delicious cheesecake for dessert. There was no choice, but the food was good. The wine tasting involved quite a lot of wine, and we were able to choose a glass of our favourite for lunch - something to consider if you are driving! I would highly recommend this!

Absolutely delicious in beautiful surroundings. What’s not to love!

My 13-year-old and I had an amazing time on the meerkat experience. We went into three different enclosures where the meerkats climbed on us, sat on us and we got to feed them. We were really lucky as in the last enclosure there were three babies (6 wks) who also climbed on us and wanted lots of snuggles. Our guide was Charlotte who was fab and very knowledgeable. The actual zoo is great too with lots of different animals to see and some to handfeed as well. Definitely recommend this experience gift, and Hoo Zoo

Lovely gift idea, easy to use

An interesting talk about the vineyard history followed by a wine tasting session was very good. The guide, one of the owners, was very informative and friendly. The afternoon tea that followed was very nice.

Great saving for a family that loves bowling and having fun together.

We went as a family of 5, A 5 year old, 4 year old and 3 week old. We had a great time and it was perfect for our 5 and 4 year old to do activities independently and as a family We can’t wait to go again!

Quiet day in half term, great day had.

I had not been to the cinema for like 3-4 years and normally I would not treat myself to go. But I got this for a Christmas present and went to go an watch the new James Bond film it was very cool with my girlfriend. The process of getting the code to then book the tickets was very simple and self explanatory. So I would recommend this as a present to anyone particularly someone who does not go to the cinema very often.

Really good experience. The keeper was very knowledgeable and kept the experience fun and factual to suit the behavior of the Meerkats. Good little zoo to look round with a good variety of smaller animals both wild and domesticated. The little tea shack was good . Watch ouit for the hungry Peacock !!!!!
