Days Out In The North East

The guy who did the tour of the vineyard was excellent , tasting up to 5 wines the lunch was cheese ,pork pies salad and cut french stick buffet help yourself but had to buy any drinks with it , otherwise good

We had a lovely day. The meerkat experience is great and you get to spend alot of time with them. My girls absolutely loved it, they are age 10 & 8 years. The lady Charlotte who did our experience was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Great day out at Hoo Zoo doing the meerkat experience. This hands on experience allowed for you to get up close with the little darlings. Thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend

Introductory talk was interesting! Seems the first Indication of wine making was experimenting with 'plums'. The plum wine was well accepted by the family and friends and to cut a long story short grape vines were introduced on a small area which grew and grew. The family element is at the heart of the wine making success. The friendly staff made everyone welcome and the formal 'sight seeing' and wine tasting etc was equally entertaining. The visit was rounded off with a good meal and everyone went away carrying various amounts of Yorkshire Heart Wine. Being over eager Avril and I had our own wine tasting the same evening sharing a bottle of Latimer white wine which rounded off the perfect day!

Our 7 year old wasn’t tall enough for everything, but we all had a great day out. Lovely weather and wasn’t too busy. Irritating that they charge an additional one or two £ for some of the rides

Great afternoon at Kirkley Hall Zoo for the reptile and lemur experience. Very friendly and very knowledgeable staff. The lady who showed us around was very knowledgeable and my son had a great experience with brilliant memories made.

Good night once we worked out how to redeem the code. Would recommend

Really nice explanation of wine making, with history of how it came about in Yorkshire. The tasting was excellent and informative, a pleasant experience all round.
