Fabulous day spent looking around the gardens and afternoon tea was lovely, the staff were caring and extremely friendly

Top Tip: Add the voucher to your Buyagift basket and leave it there for a short while—you’ll often receive a discount code via email to knock a bit extra off the price! The only minor hiccup came during the booking process. The Alnwick Garden website system wouldn't accept the Buyagift voucher code online, so I had to ring the venue directly to secure the reservation. Thankfully, the staff on the phone were helpful and sorted the date quickly. Setting & Atmosphere We visited on a glorious, sunny day, and the setting couldn't have been better. Afternoon tea is served in the Pavilion Café, which offers stunning panoramic views directly looking out over the impressive Grand Cascade water feature. Sitting in the light-filled café with the fountains running in the background made the entire experience feel extra special. Food & Dietary Accommodations The food was fantastic, but what truly stood out was how accommodating they were with special requests. They handled vegetarian options and food allergies effortlessly, and they were brilliant with children’s preferences as well. Everyone at the table was thoroughly catered for without any fuss or compromise on quality. Service The service struck just the right balance—attentive, friendly, and efficient without ever feeling intrusive or rushed. You’re left to enjoy your food and conversation in peace, but the staff are always nearby if you need extra hot water or assistance. The Verdict Despite the small blip having to phone up to book, this Buyagift deal offers outstanding value. Between the spectacular views of the Grand Cascade, delicious food, excellent dietary flexibility, and warm service, it makes for a wonderful afternoon out. Highly recommended!

Lovely afternoon tea and visit to Alnwick gardens. First time visitors. As much tea and coffee as we could drink. Brought a few cakes home with us as couldn’t finish it all. The scones and sausage rolls were delicious.
