Days Out In The North East

A good value gift for a couple, with access to all the gardens and a very nice afternoon tea. A nice afternoon out.

Loved the vineyard and hearing the story of how it started. The tour was interesting and engaging, the wine tasting was delicious and afternoon tea was beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our day, and was worth the trip!

Our 7 year old wasn’t tall enough for everything, but we all had a great day out. Lovely weather and wasn’t too busy. Irritating that they charge an additional one or two £ for some of the rides

My daughter and her cousin really enjoyed their Meerkat experience. The keeper made the experience really interesting and took the time to explain all about the Meerkats, engage with the children and answer their questions.

Brinkburn Brewery was really good great tasting and fantastic burgers

The owner gave us a wonderfully informative and interesting talk about his winemaking journey, followed by a wine tasting with nibbles and then we went for a beautifully fresh and indulgent afternoon tea. I would definitely do this again and it makes a wonderful present for someone

Quiet day in half term, great day had.

Really nice explanation of wine making, with history of how it came about in Yorkshire. The tasting was excellent and informative, a pleasant experience all round.
