The Globe theatre is a completely faithful reconstruction of the open-air theatre built in 1599, for which Shakespeare wrote many plays; this tour experience for two will really familiarise you with Shakespeare’s world, life, London and theatre. You’ll enjoy a fabulous 50-minute guided tour with an enthusiastic guide, who’ll tell fun stories of the original Globe and explain the reconstruction process hundreds of years later.

Tour started promptly, guide was knowledgable had lots to say, we had a big group. Enjoyed the views outside & in the theatre. Timing of tour was perfect just before the matinee started as we saw actors & actresses rehearsing on the stage. Really good experience, I would book again.

My friend came to visit from Wales so I surprised her with a trip to Shakespeare’s Globe as she mentioned she'd like to go. I'll be honest, this isn't normally my type of thing to do, but the tour was enjoyable and the guide knew everything there was to know.
