Was given as a gift

My self and husband we’re disappointed with the afternoon tea we only had 3 fingers of sandwiches fillings we’re not the best would of liked something like tuna or nice bit of ham and salad had to many of the cakes the scones were dry and didn’t come with butter just jam & cream. The staff were all very nice and the hotel was clean just disappointed with the sandwiches and cakes

Afternoon Tea, okish

This is no reflection on Buyagift as we have had several lovely experiences through them, just the outcome of the actual afternoon tea experience. Initial service was good on arrival and the setting was nice. Tea arrived well before the food which when it did was very basic. Sandwiches were okish and the scones very nice, but the selection of mini cakes was poor and not great. And no one came to see if everything was ok, or if we needed a refill of tea. So we left feeling a tad let down and with items of food remaining uneaten. And that was not because there was so much we couldn’t manage it all!
