Something different, short but very fun
Loved this. Going through the forest at speed was incredibly fine. It’s very short though, about 1.5 minutes at full speed. The initial ride up is obviously slow and takes a little longer but the actual ride, as you go down, is only a minute and a half. It’ll only be longer if you go slower which I did not do. I loved the speed. Like that you can go on it a total of 3 times. It wouldn’t be worth it for 1 ride but it’s decent for 3 rides. I’d recommend it for any thrill seeker. If you’re going to hold the brakes the whole time or if you’re scared of speed, don’t bother. You gotta love speed to enjoy this :)

Great day out
A great day out in a beautiful setting. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Made to feel safe at all times. Plenty of retail goodies and nick naks. Dog friendly. Spectators welcome. Good food in the restaurant with seating inside and outside. Bar. Ice-cream counter. A good use of the old coal mine with little 'nods' to it's history all around. Would definitely go again.
