About the experience
If you’ve ever fancied taking your car for a spin around a top UK circuit, then look no further than this exhilarating track taster session. With no speed cameras, speed limits, roadworks or traffic lights to restrict you, this is a fantastic chance to experience what your car can do. The day begins with a full safety briefing, including track driving techniques, followed by a few familiarisation laps to get you acquainted with the circuit. Then it’s time to really put the pedal to the metal as you discover the true performance of your beloved commuter!
What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
- Your voucher is valid for one person
- This experience is available on selected weekdays, from February to November
- Drivers must present a full UK driving licence on the day
- Minimum age: 17 years
- All drivers must wear a suitable crash helmet. Those driving open-top/convertible vehicles must wear a full face helmet and have their arms and legs covered
- Your car must conform to MOT minimum standards for road use and noise regulations. Open wheels/single seater chassis are not permitted. If the supplier deems the vehicle unsuitable for the experience, it reserves the right to exclude the vehicle without refund
- The supplier does not require you to have insurance cover in place on its track days
- You use your car on the track at your own risk
- All dates are subject to availability

Own Car Track Taster Session
Brilliant time at Oulton Park for the Track Taster Day on 04.10.23. The staff at Oulton Park and the Track day staff were great and very helpful. Ran like clockwork. They even let me back on track after my initial 20 minute session was halted due to a red flag after 10 minutes, and said I could have another 15 minutes! Could not fault them. Would highly recommend this Taster Day Experience to give you an idea what your can can actually do when pushed!

Great experience
I phoned Brands Hatch to book this experience. Was told to go online. Looked on line. Nothing about the trial experiences only the driving days. Phoned again. Was passed around 3 different people who didn't seem to know how to been these. Eventually passed to someone who gave me a list of the track days and said if I chose a couple of dates that are convenient he would try and book me in for my experience at the start of the track day. I chose a date and was then booked in and received email confirmations. On the day I arrived early as wasn't sure how much traffic there would be on way. Thank goodness for one of the tracks breakdown truck drivers. He told me exactly where to go and what to do. There is no clear signage and where you go is far from obvious. From then onwards (once things had opened up) everything went really well. I had 3 laps first being guided round by a lead car, showing everyone the best drive lines etc. After that I could go on to the track at any point that morning but once on had to do the 20 minutes in one hit. This is very hard on the brakes for a standard car! The option of 2 x 10 min sessions would be much easier on the car. Be warned, the track can get very busy and the chances are you will be overtaken by people who have serious cars complete with pit crews! Having said that it was a great experience and definitely one I would do again!

Good...good...but not perfect
One week long issues with booking...after many e-mails and phone calls I still was not on the list when I arrived. Better customer sevice would be better from Brands Hatch, first time visitors found hardly the "sign in" station. The race was good.
