Flying Lessons in East of England

I recently purchased this as a gift for a plane trip, and it turned out to be a great choice. I really liked that you could add a pre-selected extra for an additional charge it was optional, of course, but it definitely enhanced the overall experience and made the gift feel more special, almost reminiscent of something out of Fifty Shades of Grey. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would absolutely consider purchasing again. I’m looking forward to using it.

I did the 5 hour just for fun session and made a viking knife (which will be doing a lot of work on our cheese board). The 2 instructors I had, Benjy and Jean, were brilliant. Really patient and helpful, and worked really well with all the group to make sure we got the best out of the day. I'm really happy with my little knife, and already convincing myself I need to do the Cu Mai course at some point soon. Thanks everyone for a brilliant day.

I brought this for my mums 70th birthday. She was very nervous but once she climbed in, she thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Loop the loop & barrel rolls. Pilot was very good & tailored the experience for her, so daredevil’s can do all the tricks or if you are unsure you can just fly around. Would highly recommend this experience & Sibson airfield

Brillant experience. Pilot/Instructor was superb explaining how it all worked and allowing me to fly the microlight for a short while. Happily do again and would recommend to all.

A peaceful wander along a quiet and beautiful path by the Thames, with the lively and interesting company of Steve. Relaxed and knowledgeable,Steve has many stories of life on the river, the birds,water animals and the local history. He has the sharpest ears to catch the songs of Goldcrests , Black Caps and Kingfishers to help us spot the tiny , elusive birds. Really a lovely gift for anyone who wants to be helped to appreciate our wildlife. Come in April or May!

We took my 3 children, 16, 19 & 21, to the Bedford Micro light Centre yesterday to redeem their vouchers (it was a Christmas present) and we had a great time. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome by all the staff who friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Our instructor conducted a thorough safety briefing and put us all at ease - we were all a bit nervous initially, having never done this before. Before taking off he turned the micro light around and taxied slowly past the viewing area each time so that we were able to take photos/videos before each of them went up - nice touch. It was quite a chilly day, so the wood burner in the reception area helped keep us all warm. The children had a wonderful day and we would strongly recommend the Bedford venue - thank you.
