A good selection of loose leaf teas, tasty sandwiches, light & warm scones, and delicious delicate cakes. The service was excellent. Overall, most enjoyable.

Wonderful service, plenty to eat and very nice choices of cakes and pastries, looking out onto the main street in this pretty Cotswold village.

Service wasn’t very good, nobody checked back to see if everything was okay. It was a hot day and it was a very hot room

Rang up to see if we could get in the same day, a very helpful man on phone went to check and got us booked in for 2 hours time. Lovely journey to hotel. Arrived and staff very helpful. We were seated straight away and offered our hot drinks, fantastic selection of different teas for any tea drinker, so my daughter chose one, but coffee is available for non tea drinkers like me. We were given our glass of bubbly and then our afternoon tea came out. Lovely girl explained what everything was. Really impressed with the selection of sandwiches & cakes. Everything was lovely especially the scones, which were still warm! Would highly recommend this afternoon tea, in a beautiful hotel in a picturesque little village. Top class & top marks. Look forward to another visit!

We had a very warm welcome and enjoyed a special afternoon tea and champagne. We were not rushed and spent a lovely time. My one thought was that it would have enhanced our experience to have had pretty bone china cups to drink from and matching plates instead of chunky white cups. After our initial interaction with staff and bringing and explanation of food staff were not very available or asking if we were ok or offering to top up tea which on a hot day would have been welcome.

Beautiful place, excellent service. Cakes were delicious, two small scones each but would have been better with a little more savoury/sandwiches. Four tiny slices per person.
