Chocolate Making Experiences

We had a wonderful time and came away with some very tasty truffles (though they didn't last long - we scoffed them on the way home!)

A great couple of hours making chocolate truffles. Would be even better if you had your own bowl, rather than sharing.

The truffle making session was tasty and enjoyable. Good variety of activities (tasting, making ganache, shaping chocolates, tempering chocolate..) and lots of interesting background to chocolate making. Worth the journey from north of London.

The morning spent making delicious chocolates was just perfect and such good fun with like minded chocoholics. Our tutor Alex was very professional and easy to get on with and enabled us all to create a lovely selection of high quality chockies beautifully decorated and presented.

This was a great experience & the best treat I have done. There was first a section where you learn the history of the chocolate & this comes with a mini taste test to see whether you can tell the differences between chocolate & work out what notes are in each chocolate. After that you move onto making giant buttons which is explaining & easy enough to do. Following this you then learn how to make truffles & needless to say you get rather messy but they provide aprons for you to wear when you get there so no need to worry & the great thing is there's no tidying after for yourself ;) after everything is made the truffles are left to dry for a little bit & then you are providing with boxes, bags & ribbons to put everything into. The whole experience is very well laid out & the lady that was teaching us was very helpful & knowledgable. I went to the Brighton one which takes place in a room in a hotel which was easy enough to find after asking at reception & the hotel itself is located right along the seafront so easy to find also. I would thoroughly recommend this experience for not just any chocolate fan but I think even if you like chocolate a little bit I think you would enjoy it as the history is interesting as well as the taste tasters but obviously the best bit is getting stuck in & making them. You also can ask about how to temper chocolate correctly which the lady will explain if wanted.

Excellent course. My most memorable day with lots of fun and enjoyable experience. Loved it and highly recommend.

I was given the experience as a leaving gift from work.. couldn’t have been better- It was informative, engaging, well organised, fun and completely held my interest … the two and a half hours flew by.
