Cookery Classes In Manchester

This was a gift for my husband’s birthday and it was such fun! We discovered that neither of us are potters but the explanation, tuition & help from the staff made sure that we both had a great time & managed to make something resembling a pot. Would certainly recommend a visit.

Nine of us enjoyed baking and eating a great afternoon tea with a few delightful twists, all to celebrate my wife’s birthday.

This was a great experience & the best treat I have done. There was first a section where you learn the history of the chocolate & this comes with a mini taste test to see whether you can tell the differences between chocolate & work out what notes are in each chocolate. After that you move onto making giant buttons which is explaining & easy enough to do. Following this you then learn how to make truffles & needless to say you get rather messy but they provide aprons for you to wear when you get there so no need to worry & the great thing is there's no tidying after for yourself ;) after everything is made the truffles are left to dry for a little bit & then you are providing with boxes, bags & ribbons to put everything into. The whole experience is very well laid out & the lady that was teaching us was very helpful & knowledgable. I went to the Brighton one which takes place in a room in a hotel which was easy enough to find after asking at reception & the hotel itself is located right along the seafront so easy to find also. I would thoroughly recommend this experience for not just any chocolate fan but I think even if you like chocolate a little bit I think you would enjoy it as the history is interesting as well as the taste tasters but obviously the best bit is getting stuck in & making them. You also can ask about how to temper chocolate correctly which the lady will explain if wanted.

Great tea knowledge and friendly staff, ideal location and exceptional flavours to taste! This session did not disappoint as any tea lover will know, you get to try a huge variety of tea blends and be told a variety of ways to Taylor your teas to make the ideal brew from hot to cold , baked or cooked , in cocktails mocktails and all the in between. The history of bird & blend was incredible and inspiring and glad to see other tea lovers spreading happiness around the stores. I would recommend this experience for anyone with a huge interest in tea and mixology as you are able to make your own tea blends at the end!

Great 2 hours learning how to create chocolates, designs, and history to it all. My Chocolate UK organised a fun activity and our host was amazing!
