Excellent experience enhanced by the expertise of the Gin expert. We were provided with a wide variety of gins and a series of mixers we would never had tried before. We then chose our own favourite for a long drink. With our gift we had a meal which was also good. Special thanks to our expert she was great. Would highly recommend.

Rowan was our host for the evening and he was excellent. totally enjoyed the interaction with the other attendees and Rowans knowledge and the way he delivered the Gin tasting was impeccable, highly recommend

We arrived at 1.30, so sat and had a drink and were told someone would get us at 2.00. We waited until 2.20, still no one had collected us amd told us where to go. The class should have been in a separate room, as we could not hear the person who took the masterclass, it was too noisy all around. It took too long. There was 7 of us and we all ordered food, 5 meals arrived, and on asking where the other 2 were, it then took 40 minutes to arrive! So not good.

Good tasting but poor venue

The gin masterclass itself was good and enjoyed it thoroughly. However the venue and arrangements were very poor. We were sat in a pub which was very noisy. We couldn’t hear the gin master clearly. Poor Logistical arrangements led to a 20 min delay in getting started. The service at the Brewhouse was very poor.

Great way to spend an afternoon

The class lead was suitably knowledgeable about the subject and approach it in a light-hearted but informative way. The five gins were very different and all paired with appropriate different mixers and fruit. Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon and would reccommend it as a good day out to anyone who likes gin.

What a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours on a Saturday evening! Jess, our gin expert, was really knowledgeable. and so friendly. The selection of gins and the information she was able to share about the history and the making of them was wonderful. Followed up by a lovely meal. Would definitely recommend this to any gin fan.
