We really enjoyed our Gin Masterclass at Map Maison. It was easy to book the experience after submitting the voucher details. Map Maison staff are fabulous and the experience was great!

This was bought as a gift and had a great time learning more about gin. We started off with a generous glass of Prosecco followed by 3 different gins with the experience ending with making your own cocktail. Very friendly staff and would definitely recommend giving this a go. Venue really easy to find from Haggerston tube station.

The staff member was excellent we learnt a lot..but did not exactly delve into a cocktail making experience ! We were asked if we would like to make our own last cocktail ..but not with much enthusiasm , he offered to make it and bring it to our table with our food ..which we ordered after the tasting. ... so Gin tasting excellent, knowledge excellent ..but no exciting cocktail making ! Perhaps it was because there were only 2 of us and we weren't very insistent about making our last cocktail ..we were given a menu to choose one. The venue was beautiful so would recommend .. but dont expect too much cocktail making.

I think we were unlucky as the bar had several very noisy hen party groups which made it hard to hear what was being said. Also there were staffing issues which lead to the person hosting our event to keep having to stop to sort out other groups drinks orders etc., it is a lovely bar though and we would go back, it wasn't the best organised for us.

Map Maison was a small quirky venue with an eclectic display of multicultural art and artefacts. The staff were warm and welcoming and the service informative and efficient. We were made to feel special and valued - a great experience that I would highly recommend.
