I'm not sure what this question means?

We arrived early, were greeted well and seated immediately. The staff were courteous and helpful throughout. We were told that the voucher only covered 2 courses each. Rather than argue I accepted this for the sake of a peasant lunch. We both had prawn cocktails which were warm (they'd clearly been thawed out in a microwave). Neither of us ate them completely because warm doesn't work with a prawn cocktail. We pointed this out and the waiter seemed to imply it was meant to be warm. We then got several apologies from other waiters - clearly it wasn't supposed to be warm. The main course was much better. Had somebody stepped forward and offered a 3rd course to replace the duff 1st one, we probably would have left reasonably happy. They didn't and when the bill came (for wine) there was no attempt to make up for the poor start. I pointed this out and was told they had made a gesture by not charging for the coffee. All very poor, given that it was meant to be a 3 course lunch - effectively we had 1 course and coffee.

Disappointed

We were the only ones in the restaurant on a Saturday night. Starters was not very warm. Main was better but not much flavour.

On arrival we were informed that the restaurant was being used for a conference lunch and we would be seated in the casual area.This area was not particularly pleasant.The table,which was too high,was laid while we waited.We were presented with the ‘set menu’.We challenged this and after some checking were given the alacarte menu.We both ordered the prawn cocktail,which was ordinary at best.Served in a champagne type glass,it was on a bed of uncut lettuce leaves,which you couldn’t cut up.I then had the ribeye steak.This was just warm and I asked for this to be corrected.In hindsight,we should have sent back my wife’s tuna as well,because by the time my replacement dish arrived my wife had finished her meal.The second steak was also just warm.It wasn’t a very good steak either.Throughout,you can imagine,the area was very noisy with all the delegates having their lunch.Desserts were okay.We weren’t asked to pay the service charge or the supplement for the steak and I was offered another drink,which was declined.For the price we expected a fine dining experience,which this was not.Overall,a big disappointment.
