About the experience

What do I need to know?
- All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences
- Your voucher is valid for one person
- Available selected Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, March–October
- The flight lasts approximately 40 minutes – please arrive 45 minutes before the allotted start time or call the venue if delayed
- Please take the booking confirmation on the day in order to guarantee participation
- Minimum age: 16 years
- Maximum weight: 20 stone
- Depending on ability, disabled customers are welcome, but personal helpers must be on hand to assist the passenger in and out of the aircraft
- A maximum of eight passengers will be on board
- All flights are weather dependent and subject to suitable flying conditions – if a flight has to be cancelled it will be rebooked for an alternative date
- It is essential to call the venue after 8.30am on the morning of the flight for a weather check before setting off
- Please note that all spectators must pay to enter the museum to be able to watch the take-off

Amazing Gift Experience
Had the best experience ever always wanted to learn to fly and what better way to start than in a WW2 trainer plane. All the staff and ground crew were very friendly and insightful and the pilot was very friendly and chatty. I was able to take control of the plane for around 20-30 mins and loved everything minute of it on the way back to Duxford the pilot even showed off a little doing an acrobatic manoeuvre which was an experience. I would highly recommend this gift to anyone who loves planes and aviation in general.

The venue is superb because of the opportunity to look around the museum before hand. However, the initial checking in experience was chaotic and unorganised. Everything beyond this point was superb. The pre-flight info and flight it’s self were excellent and the route over London was stunning. Having expected the flight to skim around the outskirts of our capital, I was pleasantly surprised to fly directly over all the city’ Famous landmarks. This package is exactly as described and for a world war enthusiast and patriot, most enjoyable indeed.
