About the experience
Climb into the driver’s seat of a genuine Dennis fire engine for a thrilling taste of emergency response driving for one. Kick off with a briefing before hitting the track for four sighting laps, including a demo, followed by four unforgettable laps at the wheel. This is a unique chance to feel the strength, weight and precision of this iconic machine.
What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
- Your voucher is valid for one person
- Available on Saturday afternoons and Sundays, year round
- Please allow between 60-90 minutes for this experience
- Minimum age: 11 years; participants under the age of 18 must have parental or guardian permission
- Maximum age: 85 years
- Minimum height: 4ft 8in; maximum height: 6ft 2in; maximum weight: 18st
- Due to the practical and physical nature of this experience, all participants must be able bodied and able to understand and follow verbal instructions
- Participants must be physically fit with no serious health conditions
- Comfortable clothing, long socks and flat-soled shoes are recommended; glasses must be worn if needed
- Participants must be able to wear a helmet; a balaclava must be worn under the helmet and be purchased on site if you do not have one
- Booster cushions are available on request; helmets are supplied where required
- Please note, this experience involves artificial smoke effects, real flames, tripping hazards and similar risks
- No driving licence is required
- Some driving experience providers may ask participants to sign an indemnity or damage waiver form on the day of the experience. This means they may be asked to contribute towards the cost of any damage caused to the vehicle during their experience. Full details of the indemnity or damage waiver will be provided by the experience provider. We’re unable to advise or comment on the content or suitability of the waiver. Most providers also offer an optional indemnity or damage waiver for an additional fee. This is separate from the public liability insurance held by all venues
