About the experience
Aspiring pilots, aeronautical enthusiasts and those who simply love the idea of flying a plane will adore this simulator experience for one – with a difference! At Coventry Airport, you’ll be given a choice of three simulators – the Aer Lingus, which was used to train Boeing 747 pilots, or opt for one of the motion simulators; choose either the Sabena Airlines, which was used to train crew, or the Airbus A320, a real aircraft with simulator built in! You’ll begin with a thirty-minute briefing, to cover aerodynamics, flight controls and the instruments you’ll be using throughout your flight, before picking a destination and taking to the sky (well, almost!). Whether you’d like to fly around Europe or take a closer look at Hong Kong from the sky, there’s a world of opportunity out there, and with ultra-realistic graphics and a real pilot by your side to instruct you, you’re going to have a smooth flight.
What do I need to know?

- No previous piloting experience needed; it is suitable for all levels
- Both the 737 and A320 have motion, whilst the 747 is static but has a wraparound graphic display screen

Airbus A320 simulator
My Airbus A320 flight simulator experience was a surprise present from my son. After watching a video briefing, I was taken by my instructor, Sarah, to the flight deck, shown the plethora of controls and given a most informative and enjoyable time 'flying' the aircraft. Sarah's instruction was absolutely first-rate and I can't recommend the experience highly enough. Thank you.

Amazing experience
I had a brilliant day, all the staff were helpful and friendly, the pilot who took me into the simulator was Nigel, he was very information. The actual simulator it’s self was brilliant I would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back!!!

Brilliant present
I had the 90 minutes flight simulator in an Airbus A370.
My instructor Peter was fantastic. He'd flown the plane as a commercial pilot before it was made into a simulator.
I had briefing before we started that was in-depth but definitely what needed as I've never done anything like this before..
Peter was a calming influence as I was a little nervous... I didn't just fly the simulator we did take off and landing...
I enjoyed it so much I've booked to go again..it's addictive..

Flying High
A great morning spent with very knowledgeable former airline pilots. Very informative, good humour and all round wonderful event. I tried to fly the Boeing 747 which was a memorable one hour which I will remember for ever. Thanks to all.
