Standup Paddleboarding on the River Leam for Two

Swap dry land for the River Leam and share a stand up paddleboarding session for two. After a welcome briefing, you’ll learn how to balance, steer and paddle with guidance from a professional instructor, before taking a gentle cruise past the Victorian park and nearby nature reserve. Expect laughs, a splashy challenge and plenty of scenery as you find your feet on the board.

What do I need to know?

• Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
• Your voucher is valid for two people
• Available on approximately two weekend dates per month, March–October
• The session lasts two-and-a-half hours; please arrive a few minutes before the start time and allow time afterwards to shower and change
• Sessions go ahead in most conditions, but very rarely flood conditions may lead to postponement; the venue will contact you if this happens
• There is a student to tutor ratio of eight to one and everyone has their own paddleboard
• Spectators are welcome
• Facilities including a café are located in the park overlooking the river
• Please wear sports clothes that are fine to get wet and bring a towel, shower kit and a complete change of clothes
• Either remove or firmly secure glasses; contact lenses may be worn
• The venue is a British Canoeing Quality Mark centre, licensed by the Adventure Activity Licensing Authority
• Minimum age: 14 years
• Participants must be reasonably fit and confident in the water
• Swimming ability is not necessary as buoyancy aids are worn at all times
• A medical declaration must be completed and signed by a parent or guardian if under 18
