Great gift
Afternoon Tea was great . Plenty of variety of food well presented and staff couldn’t do enough to make the experience wonderful.

Low Quality Afternoon Tea
Sadly, we were disappointed with the afternoon tea at the Red Lion. The staff were friendly enough and attentive when needed but the quality of the food offered was poor. The sandwiches were poorly presented, very sloppy looking and wet, like they'd fallen off the plate and put back on. The cakes were clearly shop bought - the chocolate cake & victoria sponge were the basic, small cakes you can buy in any supermarket for £2 and had just been cut into v small slices! The scones were small and again, shop-bought. All in all, I could have done a better job at home - not quite the 'treat' we were hoping for! A lot was left on the plates!

Not the best tea ever
Tea room upstairs with no sign of disabled access. Dark dining area, lights could have been turned on. Plenty of sandwiches and cake enough for four .unfortunately sandwiches were made a lot earlier and were cold having just come out of a fridge and cake was shop bought and going stale. Only one small pot of tea not very hot. Other than that it was ok . Won’t be going back.

Very poor afternoon tea, no latte coffee, hot chocolate alternative was watery and could not drink even after re making, ham sandwiches had thin cheap ham in them, cakes and scone appeared to be shop bought. Very disappointing. Would not go back.
