Excellent venue
We had a wonderful afternoon tea at the Holt the staff were so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Endless pots of fresh tea. We lost count of how many we just asked for more. and every one had a nice smile as they walked past every single one asked if we were ok snd did we need anything else. Would recommend to any one snd we are already looking to rebook to stay this time. They are also dog friendly. So dogs are allowed except in the restaurant. But lots of space to sit in the lounges. And the grounds are very nicely laid out. I can’t stop talking about this lovely place and the staff.

Afternoon tea
All good, food and location was good. Sat in their very pretty garden. There was some confusion as to whether we had booked a cream tea or afternoon tea and initially we only got a scone with jam and cream. We had to ask for the rest. We only got a glass of Prosecco each not a bottle. The waiter was very obliging. Would go there again.

Not the best
When booking this afternoon tea my son was charged an extra £10 which he done as he didn't want myself or my husband to be disappointed, as it was a gift from him.
It is stated a bottle of prosecco but we were given a glass each. Feel cheated!
