Great birthday treat
Easy to book using buyagift. Hotel was easy to get to. Great location for our trip into Oxford. Dinner in restaurant very nice but breakfast was a bit of a letdown mainly due to large number of guests making it very busy. Plenty of free parking. A long walk from reception to our room but no lift.

An enjoyable stay
A beautiful hotel, looks recently refurbished. Our room was very clean, big, bed was firm, toiletries were high quality. Tea, coffee & biscuits were good quality makes. Fan, electric heater if you need it are in the double wardrobe plus a safe. Staff at reception were welcoming and helpful. Staff in the bar and restaurant gave us excellent service. Good choice of food & drinks. Food was delicious, good portion sizes and a good price. I would recommend including service charge on the restaurant bill as the staff gave excellent service and if you pay with your room number people may not tip staff. Cleaning staff had done an excellent job keeping the rooms and hotel very clean. Would stay here again when visiting the area.
