Was a lovely morning
Was a good morning but the group was much larger than I was expecting (~20) which meant a lot of waiting and less handling time which was dissapointing.

Bird of prey experience
The location was set in lovely countryside and the actual Falconery centre on a farm. There were so many birds to see and the staff were nice. The birds flying in the arena was fab especially at the end!!
The downside though was there were at least 30 people in our group so made the experience a bit impersonal so feel smaller groups would be better. We felt were waiting around waiting to hold a Bird, for those who can't really stand for long periods like myself it was bit difficult.
Overall though it was a lovely day and so fab to see the beautiful birds.

Falconry Experience
There was an amazing collection of birds of prey. The Falconer, a young man was very knowledgeable about the birds. He had a sense of humour and was interesting to listen to about all aspects of the birds. The only criticism we have is that we had to stand around a lot during the three hours whilst the birds were passed round for each person to hold.

Far too exceeded our expectations
Our 3 hour experience was absolutely amazing.
Set in the garden of the Mole Trap pub in Epping Forest. Laura, the falconer was full of fascinating facts about these amazing birds. We were able to hold several birds, including an enormous bald eagle, various owls and a Harris hawk. We had the opportunity to have some of the birds fly to our gloved hand.
The location was in the middle of nowhere, but had the added bonus of the pub to enjoy a meal after. Thoroughly recommend.
