Discover the deep and come face to face with baby sharks with this novice snorkelling experience at Skegness Aquarium! Before braving the shark-infested waters, you’ll receive a safety briefing and the essential basic training to prepare you for the action-packed day ahead. Venture into the shallow sea of the Lost Lagoon to search for hidden treasure, observing as the underwater residents navigate their rocky environment. Then it’s time to get up close and personal with baby sharks! Come face to face with these magnificent yet misunderstood creatures and even enjoy the chance to feed them – with chopped squid on hand, meet a motley crew of Haslet Catsharks, Epaulette sharks and a Brownbanded bamboo shark. Spend the day exploring the abundance of aquarium attractions on offer and even head home with a digital certificate commemorating this magical marine adventure, which can be printed and proudly displayed for all to see.

What do I need to know?

• All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences
• Your voucher is valid for one child and one adult
• Available Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, year round
• Snorkelling sessions take place at 9.30am or 3.30pm but guests have access to the aquarium all day
• At the discretion of the Dive Team, more spaces may be made available to meet demand
• Children must be between 6–11 years old
• No previous experience is required, although confidence in the water is essential
• This experience is expected to last one hour, with at least 20 minutes spent in the Lost Lagoon
• There is a digital lesson which will be carried out via an online e-learning link and needs to be completed prior to arrival – details for this and other elements of the experience will be included in the confirmation e-mail
• All equipment is provided – participants must bring their own swimwear, towels and shower products
• Please note, you are required to fill out a medical declaration to confirm your fitness for the experience and sign a digital registration form
• Additional spectators are charged at a supplementary fee
• All participants will be videoed during the experience and will have the option to purchase a video link of the experience
