What do I need to know?

- The zoo opens at 10am each morning
- Adults are aged 16+ years. Children are aged from 2–15 years. Children must be accompanied by at least one adult aged 18+
- Children under 2 go free but will still need a pre-booked ticket
- It is advisable to book 14 days prior to your visit
- Please note, Hoo Zoo sits on a natural floodplain - wellington boots are vital if visiting during or just after wet weather
- Please be aware that the zoo's carnivores are fed a natural diet, meaning you may see whole dead prey items (such as chicks) in their enclosure
- Pets and animals are not permitted on site except for service dogs
- All dates are subject to availability
