About the experience
The spectacular orchards of Dorset Nectar lie within the lively market town of Bridport, an area well known for its vibrant culture and rich history. This experience will allow you and your loved one to taste some truly exceptional ciders. You’ll be able to sample organic apple juice from the orchard as well as a range of artisan ciders. On top of the tasting you can also learn all about how the cider is made. After a delightful tour around the orchard you’ll be shown the cider press and the apple burn as you gain new insights into the washing, milling and pressing techniques.

A thoughtful gift
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Dorset Nectar. Had a tour around the apple orchards and the fermenting/bottling room and then best of all we got to taste some of the products!

Fascinating tour
Very interesting insight into the making of craft cider and which apples make the best cider. Even had a go at Wassailing with a mulled cider to quench our thirst. Very different experience to a brewery trip or tour of a larger commercial cider making factory. Lovely location, enjoyable tasting even though we aren't big cider drinkers. Stopped off in Bridport for lunch after and found a great little town to explore in the process. Well worth a visit to the farm on Saturday to get the market in Bridport before or after.

Lovely day out
The tour lasted a perfect amount of time, walking around the idyllic orchards and learning how their fantastic cider is made. A wide range of their ciders were provided for tasting and it really helped me understand what types of cider I enjoy the most. You have the chance to buy some cider from the shop at the end for a reasonable price, worth doing to support this small family-run business. I will be returning to Dorset Nectar for some more ciders when I am next in the area.
