Situated in the heart of trendy Covent Garden, The Black Penny is a stylish, artisanal coffee house & kitchen that serves a delicious array of breakfast delights, brunch and all-day sandwiches. With intimate lighting, modern décor and a relaxed atmosphere, it will make you feel relaxed from the moment you arrive. With an interior décor inspired by traditional Penny Universities (English coffee houses in the mid-17th century), it is split across two floors, making it a quirky and characterful environment. Occasionally they also hold fascinating seminars and lectures in their subterranean Seminar Pit, from food photography masterclasses to poetry nights!
