As other have said ‘Don’t bother’
To repeat what others of said. Although the food and service were good the voucher simply buys you their daytime set menu which even with the Prosecco only amounts to £66 in value. Manager had no interest in giving better value and spent a long time explaining how buyagift take all the money and seemed to think this was reasonable response to my complaint about basically being ripped off. Can’t imagine Gaucho ever read these reviews but if their do they must surely see the damage this is doing to their business. An out and out ripoff!

A Rip Off
This gift voucher supposedly had a redemption value for £80 for a 3 course lunch and glass of fizz at Gaucjo. When I redeemed it, Buyagift told me there was a £32 surcharge with no reason given why. We turned up at Gaucho, Glasgow and were handed a 'special menu'
This was in fact their regular set menu which is priced at £19,95. Even with the fizz added, the total cost for 2 without a voucher is almost £64 - NOT £80 + £32 supplement. We felt totally ripped off! The provider (Gaucho) was very sympathetic and allowed us to choose from the a la carte menu at no extra cost. They were as surprised as we were at this very poor practice from buyagift.co

Overcharged for what we got!
I exchanged my voucher for the dinner for 2 with fizzy wine at a cost of £109 from my gift voucher. We were offered the buy a gift set menu which is the same as their early bird menu at a cost of £19.95 per head plus the additional cost of the wine. When the final bill arrived there was a £30 underspend charge on the bill and we had a tip to pay of 13.75 (the service was excellent but surely this should have been taken from the £30).
This is certainly not good value for money being done out of £30 and spending another £13.75.
I would not recommend this as a gift. Just go along for the early bird menu - simples!!

Poor gift
Gift given as present. Gift did not notify of day and time restrictions nor notify of very selective and poor menu. After looking forward to meal we could not accept the Gaucho Buy a Gift reduced menu so upgraded to full menu.
