With previous owners including Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn, Thornbury Castle has been transformed into a fine and luxurious hotel, boasting classic features blended effortlessly with stunning décor. Beautiful venue
We had a wonderful visit to Thornbury Castle. A magnificent building, truly splendid surroundings. It felt like an extra special experience. The food was spectacular, the staff exemplary and the surroundings just fabulous!

Amazing Afternoon Tea at Thornbury Castle
My partner got me this voucher for my birthday. I booked it. He proposed to me at Thornbury Castle next to the fountain. I am absolutely over the moon. We then had our afternoon tea. All the staff are very professional, welcoming and made every effort to make sure everything was right to make our experience as enjoyable as possible. The sandwiches, scones, cakes and drinks were top quality and very tasty. We were both very full. Would love to go there again. Highly recommend. The grounds are stunning and nice to wander around.

Smashing Afternoon Tea with Champagne
We loved our luxury afternoon tea experience in Thornbury Castle. The staff were friendly and helpful, the setting was gorgeous, and the gardens were beautiful. Sandwiches, scones with jam and cream, and several different types of cakes were all scrumptious. A lovely treat.
