Inspector Morse, Lewis and Endeavour Tour of Oxford for Two

First of all it was raining heavily. but despite this everyone turned up for the tour, and show went on. Heidi Boon Rickard our guide was full of energy and had a real passion for her subject she was so infectious and happy to tell us what she knew. As the tour started it became obvious that we were in for a real treat and we were really impressed by her knowledge of all three programmes and that she was able to show us why Oxford was so special and right for these episodes. She was able to show us how more modern additions were covered and the as for the phone boxes they were brilliant, you'll have to do the tour to find out! Heidi also threw in other information about CS Lewis and Narnia and Tolkien and the Lord of the Rings and a lot of general history of Oxford and its many colleges. She knows a lot of people around Oxford and we even got into a recital briefly being performed at one of the churches. Heidi is obviously very respected. Our tour lasted nearly 2 hours and she was very open to questions. We did dive for cover on a couple occasions which was welcome. Many thanks for a brilliant afternoon. Also the voucher extension process was so easy and welcome especially as the Pandemic made it impossible to use the voucher within its initial expiration period.
