About the experience
Kensington Palace offers more than 300 years of royal history in one of London’s most intimate royal residences. The visit explores the palace where Queen Victoria was born and where Diana, Princess of Wales once lived, before continuing through the State Apartments and their impressive display of paintings from the Royal Collection. An audio guide helps bring the palace’s stories to life.
What do I need to know?

- Available Wednesday–Sunday, 10am–4pm, with last admission at 3pm
- Please allow approximately two hours for this experience. Your ticket is valid for the date and time shown, and includes access to the public areas of the palace and gardens
- Children aged 0–4 years are free of charge and do not require a ticket
- Audio guide tours are currently available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Mandarin, Japanese and British Sign Language
- The Last Princesses of Punjab exhibition runs from 26th March 2026–8th November 2026 and is included in general palace admission
- The Queen’s State Apartments will be closed from 9th November 2026 for conservation and official representation purposes
- Disability access: ground-floor entry and lift access to all three main floors
- A full refund or date change is available up to 24 hours before travel; cancellations inside 24 hours will be charged at 100%
