Morning Spa Day with 25 Minute Treatment and a Two course Lunch for Two at Macdonald Inchyra Hotel

Really disappointed with experience definitely not worth the money and.persotInally wouldn't recommend. When arrived got told there was a aerobics class in the pool starting shortly however could still used the pool, but when got to pool was no room due to class being on and pool being full. Had to walk past the class that was going in as only other options had to do was the sauna and steam room which was beside the pool. In the male changing area my partner got locked in the toilet as the lock had broke from the inside there was no warning signs abd had to get someone from the outside to open it. The ladies changing room oy had one lockable changing room which wasnt adequate for the amount of people using it considering was a class on. The lockers had a horrible smell inside them and the whole changing rooms looked really dated. All that was available to do was pool sauna or steam room and there was some dated loungers that had stains on them around pool. We opted for massage which was ok nothing to rave about. The meal options were very poor was pizza, bolognaise or tikka curry. Sandwiches or a salad. We opted for the tuna sandwiches which came with 6 crisps and a small amount of colslaw. No salad which left sandwiches very bland. I ordered a sticky toffee pudding for dessert but took too long to come out that just cancelled it. I was looking forward to a nice relaxing morning but felt more stressed by time come out than went on. I received this as a birthday presebt from my partner and to be honest was a complete waste of money.

Pool was freezing, aerobics class was on with loud music we weren't informed of, sauna was out of order, missing tiles on the hot beds, treatment was supposed to be 25 minutes but was only about 15 minutes. Institutions on where to go weren't clear. Food was good but slow service, had to wait about 10 minutes for a drinks ordee to be taken, we had to go ask for the bill and leave pudding bowl on the table as it wasn't cleared. Definitely wasn't worth the money and won't be going back

The spa is very relaxing and I enjoyed my facial. I was disappointed that the sauna was closed.

When I went to book spa day I discovered the chosen experience had expired and therefore I had to pay extra to upgrade to an alternative experience. The extra money I had to pay was the same amount as paid for the original gift experience so I ended up feeling I was paying for my own gift which in turn made the person giving the gift feel really bad.
